Perfectly organized trip through Colombia!

We were curious about a country that was unknown to us, we were looking for adventure, the unfamiliar. We found a country where everything is much bigger than in Switzerland, the cities, the skyscrapers, the mountains, the masses of water, the forests, the distances.

A country with many more people of different origins, with great contrasts, great poverty and wealth, remoteness and turbulent cities.

The trip through the country was perfectly organized by Travelombia, on time, reliable, with good drivers and guides. We always felt safe and accompanied, which is not a given in a country like Colombia. This meant we wasted very little time and were able to experience and enjoy the many highlights. For example, the capital Bogota with Monserrate, Villa de Leyva, the dimensions of the Amazon, the coffee triangle with the beautiful Hacienda Venecia, modern Medellin and then La Comuna 13 with its graffiti, the climb up the rock El Peñon with the magnificent view of the lake landscape, Guatape with its history, colonial, colorful Cartagena with the contrast Little Miami, the Tayrona National Park and much more.

There would not have been enough time for more during the three-week round trip. But the many impressions will stay with us for a long time.
